Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Peoples platform at peoplesgroup.co.uk ("Platform"), operated by Blue Lens Investments Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16515534) with its registered office at 141 Chain House Lane, Preston, PR4 4LB, United Kingdom. "Peoples" is a trading name of Blue Lens Investments Limited. References to "Peoples", "we", "us" or "our" in these Terms refer to Blue Lens Investments Limited.

By accessing the Platform, placing an order, or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Nature of the Service

Peoples is a wholesale platform that sells trade-quantity goods to verified UK retail businesses. Through the Platform you can place orders, receive trade pricing, manage your account, and arrange delivery to your registered business address.

Peoples sources its catalogue from a network of brand partners and authorised distributors and may fulfil orders from its own facility or from authorised distribution partners acting on Peoples' behalf. In every case:

Peoples is the merchant of record. The fact that goods may be dispatched from a partner facility on Peoples' behalf does not affect this — your relationship for the supply of goods is with Blue Lens Investments Limited.

Eligibility

The Platform is for trade use only. To open an account and place orders you must:

Trade only. The Platform is not intended for use by private consumers and goods supplied are intended for resale through legitimate retail channels. Peoples reserves the right to verify trade status and to refuse or suspend access where trade status cannot be confirmed.

Orders

4.1 Order Process

Orders placed through the Platform are offers to purchase goods from Blue Lens Investments Limited. An order is accepted and a binding contract is formed once full payment has been received and cleared and Peoples confirms acceptance by email. Once an order has been accepted, cancellation is not guaranteed and may not be possible if fulfilment has commenced.

4.2 Minimum Order Value

A minimum order value of £50 applies to all purchases unless otherwise stated at the point of sale.

4.3 Order Acceptance

Peoples reserves the right to reject or cancel any order prior to fulfilment, and to limit quantities per customer. Where Peoples cancels an order after payment, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Payments

5.1 Payment Method

Payments are processed by Blue Lens Investments Limited through PCI-compliant payment providers, including credit and debit card processors and direct-debit providers such as GoCardless. Orders will not be processed until full cleared payment is received. Card statements and receipts will reference Peoples or Blue Lens Investments Limited.

5.2 Pricing
  • All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of any applicable taxes
  • Prices may change without prior notice and may vary by promotional period
  • Where a pricing error is identified prior to acceptance, Peoples may correct the price or cancel and refund the order

Commercial Model

Peoples operates a standard wholesale commercial model. Peoples sources goods from brand owners and authorised distributors at trade rates and resells those goods to verified retail customers at the prices shown on the Platform.

Margins, supplier rebates and any commercial arrangements between Peoples and its brand partners are internal to Peoples and have no bearing on the price you pay or the contractual relationship described in these Terms.

Delivery & Fulfilment

7.1 Fulfilment

Peoples is responsible for fulfilment of accepted orders. Goods may be dispatched from Peoples' own facility or from authorised distribution partners acting on Peoples' behalf. Standard lead time is 3–5 business days, delivered nationwide via DPD. Full delivery details, including cut-off times, signing requirements and what to do on receipt, are set out in our Delivery Policy.

7.2 Delivery Issues

If your delivery is delayed, lost in transit, or arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact Peoples directly. We will work with the carrier and our distribution partners to resolve the issue and apply our Returns & Refunds Policy where applicable.

7.3 Delivery Times

Delivery dates communicated at the point of order are estimates based on our standard lead time and are not contractually guaranteed. We will notify you by email if a delay specific to your order is anticipated.

Product Responsibility

Peoples sources its catalogue from brand owners and authorised distributors. Brand owners and distributors warrant to Peoples the quality, safety, regulatory compliance and accuracy of product information for goods we sell on the Platform.

As your seller of record, Peoples is responsible to you under English law for ensuring that goods supplied are of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for their intended purpose. Where a product is found to be faulty, mis-described or non-compliant, your remedies are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable statutory rights (see Section 13).

Product specifications, marketing imagery and descriptions are provided in good faith based on information from brand owners. Minor variations in packaging, batch markings or formulation may occur from time to time and do not entitle the buyer to a refund where the product remains substantially as described.

Refunds & Returns

Refunds and returns are governed in full by our Returns & Refunds Policy. In summary:

All return and refund queries should be directed to Peoples — you should not return goods to a brand owner or distributor without our written authorisation.

Accounts

10.1 Account Use

Users are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their account information, maintaining account security, and ensuring their account is not misused by third parties.

10.2 Prohibited Behaviour

You must not:

  • Exploit pricing errors or system vulnerabilities
  • Engage in any form of fraudulent activity
  • Interfere with Platform functionality or security
  • Misuse listings, ordering systems, or pricing structures
10.3 Termination

Peoples may suspend or terminate any account at any time and without notice. Grounds include, but are not limited to:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Misuse or abuse of the Platform
  • Attempted exploitation of pricing or system errors
  • Suspicious or fraudulent activity

Upon termination, Peoples may cancel associated orders and refuse future access to the Platform.

Platform Use

You agree to use the Platform lawfully and responsibly at all times. Peoples reserves the right to modify or remove features, restrict access, or update the Platform at any time without notice.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including branding, design, layout, text, and media — is owned by or licensed to Blue Lens Investments Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any part of the Platform's content without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blue Lens Investments Limited shall not be liable for:

Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by Peoples' own negligence.

Changes to Terms

Peoples reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes may also include pricing structures, service features, or operational policies. Continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
